Temporary failure:
- Used to be a failure at the past PI meeting,
- Now upgraded to “accomplishment”.
Persistent failure (spans multiple meetings):
- The problem is indeed intractable, just as everybody else in the community thinks
- It is tractable after all, but we don’t get enough funding.
