Experiment Setup
Three configurations:
- LAN (16 machines, local-area network)
- Cairn (7 machines, wide-area network)
- Emulab* (7 machines, emulated wide-area network)
Software:
- PostgreSQL 7.1.3
- Random queries and updates to 10 tables with 1000 rows.
*Emulab facility at the University of Utah.
